This engaging program is designed to help children understand and manage their emotions effectively. Through interactive storytelling, group sharing, and mindfulness practices, kids will learn to recognize various emotions, observe their bodily sensations, and develop essential skills to regulate their feelings. Our class empowers children to build resilience and reduce stress by tapping into their internal strengths and external resources. By increasing their awareness of emotional response, we aim to enhance their overall well-being, improve self awareness, and foster a sense of safety and security.
Board games can be an excellent resource for children, providing both enjoyment and opportunities for skill development. Whether in after-school programs, summer camps, daycare, or classroom settings, these games can enhance a child's learning experience in a fun and engaging way. They are particularly suitable for neurodivergent children (i.e., those with special educational needs) as they can find structure in the nature of the games while learning to work with others and develop flexibility in the process.
